Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA), 7-4 in a league challenge.

The Bullpups now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ferris for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Thursday, March 24. Gonzaga Prep will battle a Saxons squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to University (Spokane, WA). The Saxons record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Mead falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Cheney (Cheney, WA) to battle the Blackhawks in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Cheney won 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA)
