Kingman Academy Tigers (Kingman, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad smash the host St. John Paul II Catholic Lions (Avondale, AZ), 33-0 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Superior for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. Kingman Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Ray (Kearny, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, St. John Paul II Catholic falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Heritage Academy (Laveen, AZ) to face the Heroes in a 2A West challenge on Monday, March 28. The Heroes enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Heritage Academy won 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ)
