In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN) softball team overwhelmed the host Northeast Eagles (Clarksville, TN), by a margin of 16-4.
With the triumph, Montgomery Central moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Indians host Creek Wood (Charlotte, TN) to play the Red Hawks in a 3A District 9 contest on Monday, March 28. The Red Hawks come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
