The Airline Vikings baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Haughton Buccaneers to 5 in the Vikings league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Southwood (Shreveport, LA). The Cowboys go into the 5A District 1 match with a 3-15 record. In their last match, Southwood was edged by Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 12-4, in a league match.
The Buccaneers (14-6) will now prepare for their match against Zwolle (Zwolle, LA). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 3-8 record.
