The Unity Reed Lions baseball team (Manassas, VA), was overwhelmed 14-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA)
The Bobcats now hold a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Osbourn Park for a Cedar Run outing on Tuesday, March 28. Battlefield will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the Lions confront the John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA) in a Cedar Run outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Unity Reed will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA).
