With the win, Pope John Paul II upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Jaguars host St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA) to battle the Hawks in a 2A District 9 test on Monday, March 27. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 0-6.

With the defeat, Belle Chasse falls to 3-11 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Bourgeois (Gray, LA) to battle the Braves in a non-league test on Friday, March 24. The Braves come into the test with a record of 6-6. Bourgeois lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Slidell (Slidell, LA)
