North Carolina High School Baseball - Mount Airy loses to East Surry

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting East Surry Cardinals baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Mount Airy Granite Bears.
The Cardinals (8-2) will now prepare for their game against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds go into the Foothills 2A game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, North Surry was overwhelmed by East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC), 3-2, in a league game.
The Granite Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their game against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras go into the Northwest 1A game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, South Stokes overcame Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC), 5-4, in a league game.
