The Eastside Eagles baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Wren Hurricanes to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Greer (Greer, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the 4A Region 2 match with a 4-4 record.
The Hurricanes (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC). The Fury go into the 3A Region 2 match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Fountain Inn edged Wren (Piedmont, SC), 2-0, in a league match.
