California High School Baseball - El Modena gets by Foothill

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) and the host Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), saw El Modena's baseball squad beat Foothill by a margin of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Vanguards play the Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) in a Crestview battle, on Friday, March 24. El Modena will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to El Dorado (Placentia, CA).

The Knights now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Dorado for a Crestview battle on Friday, March 24. Foothill will play a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 8-5.
