Virginia High School Baseball - Great Bridge wallops Indian River

Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 12-2 in a league test.

With the win, Great Bridge upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Grizzlies in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, March 28. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 1-1. Grassfield won 6-1 in their recent league test against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)

With the defeat, Indian River falls to 2-1 on the season. The Braves host Surry County (Dendron, VA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 29. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-2.
