In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Santa Fe Demons.
The Hilltoppers (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sundevils go into the 4A District 2 game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Espanola Valley was edged by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 6-1, in a non-league game.
The Demons (6-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, St. Michael's tipped Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 16-0, in a non-league game.
