The Kearny Komets held off the host Christian Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.
The Komets now have a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oceanside for a non-league test on Monday, April 3.
The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their test against University City (San Diego, CA). The Centurions enter the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, University City held off Mission Bay (San Diego, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
