In Thursday's league battle, the host Cordova Lancers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Johnson Warriors.

The Lancers (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Placer was edged by Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Florin Panthers (Sacramento, CA) in a Greater Sacramento battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Johnson will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Campus (Sacramento, CA).
