The Geffen Academy Bruins volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators to 2 in the Bruins league victory on Thursday.

The Bruins now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wildwood for a Coastal game on Tuesday, April 11. Geffen Academy will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Vistamar (El Segundo, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-1.

The The Aviators (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Vistamar (El Segundo, CA). The Vikings enter the Coastal game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Vistamar was nudged by Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
