The Barrow Whalers basketball team (Utqiagvik, AK), was toppled 61-50 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK)

The Grizzlies now possess a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Edgecumbe for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 25. Grace Christian will confront a Braves team coming off a 40-35 non-league win over Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK). The Braves record now stands at 23-5.

The Whalers (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 22-6 record. In their last battle, Monroe Catholic was toppled by Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK), 40-35, in a non-league battle.
