The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), saw Cave Spring's soccer squad get by William Byrd by a margin of 1-0.
The Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Blacksburg for a test on Friday, March 24.
With the loss, William Byrd drops to 1-2 on the season. The Terriers host Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 4. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-1.
