Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Cardinals now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kenston for a Region 6 battle on Friday, March 24.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) in a Region 6 battle, on Monday, March 27. Cardinal Mooney will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
