The Rocky Mount Academy Eagles smashed the visiting Epiphany Falcons soccer squad by a margin of 10-1 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Halifax Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A match on Friday, March 24. Rocky Mount Academy will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Epiphany drops to 0-7 on the season. The Falcons travel to Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a NCISAA Coastal Plain match on Tuesday, March 28. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 0-3. Wayne Christian lost 7-0 in their recent league match against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC)
