Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) and the host Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC), saw Albemarle School's baseball squad knock off Northeast Academy by a count of 20-2.

Coming up next, the Colts play the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a match, on Monday, March 27. Albemarle School will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 2-2 record after their 9-1 league win over Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC).

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC). The Raiders go into the match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Pungo Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC), 8-1, in a non-league match.
