The Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs to 0 in the Hawks league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against NOVA HomeSchool (Chantilly, VA). The Lions go into the match with a 0-1 record.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders go into the match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Riverdale Baptist was overwhelmed by Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
