In Thursday's league game, the host Lawrence Academy Warriors baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Ridgecroft Rams.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC). The Colts go into the game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Albemarle School overcame Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC), 20-2, in a league game.
The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Halifax Academy was overwhelmed by Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC), 11-9, in a league game.
