In Thursday's league contest, the Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA) softball team held off the visiting Indio Rajahs (Indio, CA), by a margin of 14-13.
With the triumph, Cathedral City moves its record to 2-0 on the year.
In their next game, the Rajahs play the Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA) in a contest, on Monday, March 27. Indio will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record.
