The Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) softball routed the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), 21-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, William Monroe toppled Madison County (Madison, VA), 18-2, in a non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Charlottesville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 28. Western Albemarle will confront a Black Knights squad coming off a 27-22 non-league loss to Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-2.
