In Thursday's league contest, the Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA), by a margin of 18-3.
With the triumph, Orange Vista moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Coyotes host Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, March 24. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Rancho Verde will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
