In Thursday's league battle, the visiting James F. Byrnes Rebels soccer squad scored a close 4-2 triumph over the Spartanburg Vikings.
The Rebels (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AAAAA Region 2 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Boiling Springs by Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Vikings (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC). The Indians come into the AAAAA Region 2 battle with a 5-5 record.
