North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Johnston for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27. North Johnston will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Beddingfield falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC) to face the Warriors in a Neuse Six 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Eastern Wayne won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC)
