DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oasis for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27. DeSoto County will battle a Sharks squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Cypress Lake (Fort Myers, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Booker falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tornadoes host Manatee (Bradenton, FL) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Manatee won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL)
