California High School Softball - Pioneer thwarted by Branham

The Pioneer Mustangs softball team (San Jose, CA), was routed 13-5 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA)

Coming up next, the Bruins clash with the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 24. Branham will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 4-2 league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA).

The Mustangs (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Los Gatos was routed by Milpitas (Milpitas, CA), 2-1, in a league test.
