The Archbishop Shaw Eagles crushed the visiting L.W. Higgins Hurricanes baseball team by a count of 13-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league bout on Monday, March 25. Archbishop Shaw will face a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Landry Buccaneers (New Orleans, LA) in a 4A District 10 bout, on Tuesday, March 26. L.W. Higgins will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 0-5 record after their 18-0 league loss to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA).
