The Cabell Midland Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Blazer Tomcats to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
Next, the Tomcats face the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 25. Blazer will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY).
