The Danbury Panthers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Boling Bulldogs to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Leopards go into the 3A Region III District 24 match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Van Vleck was overwhelmed by East Bernard (East Bernard, TX), 4-0, in a league match.

The Bulldogs (4-12) will now prepare for their match against El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Ricebirds come into the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, El Campo beat Wharton (Wharton, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.
