Texas High School Baseball - Floydada loses to Olton

The Floydada Whirlwinds baseball team (Floydada, TX), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Saturday's league outing with the host Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX)

The Mustangs now hold a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ralls for a 2A Region I District 3 outing on Tuesday, March 26. Olton will confront a Jackrabbits team coming off a 15-4 league loss to Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 4-12.

Next, the Whirlwinds confront the Sudan Hornets (Sudan, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Floydada will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Hornets go into the outing with a 8-6 record after their 8-7 league loss to New Deal (New Deal, TX).
