The Winfield Pirates crushed the visiting Hubbertville Lions baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
The Pirates (13-9) will now prepare for their game against Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Area 9 game with a 8-7 record.
The Lions (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Pickens County (Reform, AL). The Tornadoes go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Pickens County was overwhelmed by Sulligent (Sulligent, AL), 15-2, in a non-league game.
