Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) and the visiting Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY), saw Johnson Central's baseball squad knock off Wolfe County by a count of 5-1.
Coming up next, the Golden Eagles play the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) in a District 57 battle, on Tuesday, March 26. Johnson Central will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
The Wolves now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knott County Central for a non-league battle on Monday, March 25.
