The Universal Academy Falcons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans to 1 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Tampa Christian Academy for a 1A D11 game on Monday, March 25. Universal Academy will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to George Jenkins (Lakeland, FL). The Titans record now stands at 1-1.
The Spartans (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Boone (Orlando, FL). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Boone held off Evans (Orlando, FL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
