California High School Baseball - Helix nudged by Grossmont

The Grossmont Foothillers nudged the host Helix Highlanders baseball team by a tally of 5-4 in Saturday's league bout.
The Foothillers now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Capitan for a game on Thursday, April 4. Grossmont will clash with a Vaqueros team coming off a 19-8 league loss to West Hills (Santee, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 2-4.
The Highlanders (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars go into the game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Steele Canyon tipped Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA), 12-10, in a league game.
