Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH), 9-1 in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host New Albany for a Region 3 battle on Tuesday, April 2.

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Xenia will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Edgewood (Trenton, OH).
