The Amory Panthers softball team (Amory, MS), was tipped 8-7 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Smithville Seminoles (Smithville, MS)

Coming up next, the Seminoles encounter the West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) in a 1A Region 4 test, on Tuesday, March 26. Smithville will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Mantachie (Mantachie, MS).

The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians come into the 4A Region 1 test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, Itawamba Agricultural edged Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS), 5-4, in a league bout.
