Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Mavericks now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Vicksburg for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25.

With the loss, Tupelo falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Golden wave travel to Madison Central (Madison, MS) to face the Jaguars in a 7A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. Madison Central lost 11-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS)
