South Carolina High School Softball - Blue Ridge edges Greer

March 23, 2026: Greer, SC 29651

The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers softball team scored 4 runs and restricted the host Greer Yellow Jackets to 2 in the Fighting Tigers league victory on Monday.

Next, the Fighting Tigers meet the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 challenge, on Wednesday, March 25. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Devildogs go into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Powdersville (Greenville, SC).

The Yellow Jackets (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Bobcats go into the AAAA Region 2 challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Seneca by Berea (Greenville, SC), 2-0, in a league outing.
