In Thursday's league game, the host Copiah Academy Colonels baseball team scored a tight 11-4 victory over the Adams County Christian Rebels.
The Colonels (9-4) will now prepare for their game against St. Aloysius (Vicksburg, MS). The Flashes go into the MAIS 3AAAA - Southwest game with a 1-9 record.
The Rebels (0-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Bruins go into the 2A Region 4 game with a 17-4 record. In their last game, St. Joseph Catholic tipped St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS), 9-2, in a non-league game.
