The Belfry Pirates baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Phelps Hornets to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Johnson Central gained a win over Russell (Russell, KY), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
