In Thursday's non-league game, the host Buford Yellowjackets baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Hartsville Red Foxes.

The Red Foxes (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Seahawks go into the AAAA Region 6 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Myrtle Beach was overwhelmed by Darlington (Darlington, SC), 7-4, in a league game.
