The Manchester Academy Mavericks baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Deer Creek Warriors to 2 in the Mavericks league victory on Thursday.
The Mavericks (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Humphreys Academy (Belzoni, MS). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Humphreys Academy ran past Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 7-3 record.
