The Ider Hornets crushed the visiting Pisgah Eagles baseball team by a count of 16-3 in Thursday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Gaylesville for a non-league bout on Friday, March 25. Ider will face a Trojans team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Asbury (Albertville, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 6-10.
Next, the Eagles face the Cedar Bluff Tigers (Cedar Bluff, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 28. Pisgah will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 6-5 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Geraldine (Geraldine, AL).
