The John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers crushed the host Wenonah Dragons baseball team by a count of 18-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chelsea for a non-league bout on Friday, March 25. John Carroll Catholic will face a Hornets team coming off a 4-3 league win over Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 7-7.
Next, the Dragons face the Holt Ironmen (Holt, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 25. Wenonah will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Ironmen enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Hale County (Moundville, AL).
