In Thursday's league game, the Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA) volleyball team held off the host St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA), by a score of 3-2.

The Mustangs now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Bernard for a Camino Real game on Tuesday, March 29. Salesian will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

The Valiants (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA). The Tigers come into the Camino Real contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Bosco Tech tipped The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
