University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV), 11-8 in a league battle.

The Hawks now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to George Washington for a WVSLA - West battle on Friday, March 25. University will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Capital (Charleston, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

In their next game, the Mohigans clash with the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a WVSLA - East battle, on Saturday, March 26. Morgantown will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA).
