Next, the Eagles confront the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) in a Mountain Empire challenge, on Tuesday, March 29. Auburn will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Maroons enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 6-2 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA).

The Bears now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Galax for a Mountain Empire challenge on Monday, March 28. Bland County will confront a Maroon Tide team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 0-4.
