Next, the Maroons confront the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a Mountain Empire challenge, on Tuesday, March 29. George Wythe will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 13-0 league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA).

The Spartans now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Auburn for a Mountain Empire challenge on Thursday, March 31. Giles will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 league win over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
